Grape picking in Italy
Italy Like France, is one of the oldest wine countries and the world's largest wine producer. The Italian soils are ideal for viticulture. The warm climate ensures the grapes ripen well. The land is therefore also planted with special grape varieties from north to south. We are currently busy with our contacts in Italy, so you can soon go on an adventure there too!
Since 2021
In Spain, the olive harvest starts in November and can continue until the end of January. So 3 months in which you can start picking. It is a job where you are physically challenged, but with the sun on your head where temperatures can reach above 25⁰ (and that in November).
With a team you are busy shaking and flapping the olives from the trees, long sticks are used to get the top olives out of the trees, all the olives are collected in the nets placed under the trees. Never fear, but climbing into the trees is also part of it to get the last olives out of the trees. All in all, an extraordinary adventure, an experience few people get to experience.
